Decorative Vintage Plates

Really, is there anything prettier than a beautifully decorated plate to adorn a vintage inspired table?
We think not! We are LOVING weddings that use vintage plates to decorate their tables.  Here's some examples...
This plate is gorgeous and is made even prettier with the lacey and diamante encrusted napkin ring...

The use of different plates on an otherwise simply decorated table adds interest and plates become a pretty focal point.

Simple flower arrangement and crisp white linen can bring out the colour in the plates...stunning!

Here's our take on vintage elegance from Sugar & Spice Events from our Feathers & Lace range using mismatched vintage plates...

Coloured Glassware

One of the things we love at the moment is coloured glassware used to decorate your wedding table.
Loving all things decadent, we are constantly looking for ways to theme every aspect of a wedding and coloured glassware can be used to bring colour to the table and also to help define your theme.  Here's some examples...
This look is sophisticated and stunning.  We love how the accents of the red glasses co-ordinate with the roses.  With the mirrored vases, it's an elegant yet modern look.
This is a completely different style, yet still striking.  The cobalt blue glassware creates a stunning focal point for the table and dramatically contrasts with the floral centrepiece.
Here the glassware is decoratvie and compliments the baroque look of the table.  This is our favourite!!

Another interesting use for glassware is to use bottles of varying shapes, sizes & heights to create a simple, cost-effective & eclectic centrepiece.  Here's an example...

This is so effective and so easy to replicate...so get inspired!
